The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Unemployment Insurance (UI) Program provides rules that are used to establish proper employment classification – whether someone is an employee or an independent contractor? The Ready Campaign is designed to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies, including natural disasters and potential terrorist attacks. This preparedness site is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It provides planning checklists and survival tips in the event of a natural disaster, terrorist attack or other emergency. An instructional video link is also provided.

This report presents findings from a survey of CEOs of Leading Growth Firms in Canada on advisory boards undertaken in September 2002. The report also contains CEO profiles that range from CEOs discussing their experiences with formally structured boards to more informal advisory boards. The profiles illustrate specific ways in which boards add value to the performance of a firm.
